‘Because of Boonie’ is dedicated to inspiring dog owners to explore the world with their pets, capturing authentic, unposed moments through cinematic photography and blog storytelling. The aim is to create lasting memories that celebrate the bond between humans and their dogs, encouraging adventure and connection along the way.
Naturally, we want to give our dogs better lives. Whether that’s with the food they eat, or taking them on an adventure. In turn, it forces us to get out of our comfort zones, get out of the house, and seek adventure and key moments whether big or small which gives us a better life too!
While Because of Boonie started as a way of documenting my own pup and the ways he has enriched my life, it’s evolved into media surrounded around capturing you and your dog in your natural element. For most of us, our dogs are our kids! Because of Boonie Media acts as a full production studio that can capture special moments between you and your dog and the special bond you share.

For the folks who love to be outdoors and bring their pup along – this one’s for you. Countless times, have we all tried to set up our phone on a rock, set the self timer, and sprint to a vantage point to get the perfect shot of us and our dog – only to result in a shot halfway through our run, tripping over a leash, and possibly out of focus.
That’s where I come in! Adventure shoots are meant to capture you and your pup out there doing the things you love most. The end result will be beautiful candid shots as well as an optional cinematic 30 second reel to upload to your socials.
For the outdoor adventurer who takes their pup everywhere – this one is for you. Gone are the days of setting up your phone on self timer, only for your leg to get caught on a leash while you’re sprinting to your vantage point to make that 10 second mark.
